Dance World USA Las Vegas is the official venue for the Canilao Clan 3rd Annual 4th of July 2010 Reunion

It's time again to come together. 
On Sunday, July 4, 2010 from 6:30pm to 11:30pm the Canilao Clan will gather for the Canilao Clan 3rd Annual Dinner Dance Reunion at the Dance World USA in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Canilao Clan Reunion promises to connect and reconnect relatives and provide us with exciting and unique opportunity to meet new ones.
So join us and meet your relatives to a great entertainment, delicious food and atmosphere of Dance World USA.


The following information will guide you on your travel arrangement.

Please book your hotel and flight reservation early.

The Orleans Hotel and Casino

Individuals are encouraged to book their reservation on-line please click here. Attendees credit card will be charged immediately by the hotel to secure their first night deposit. Prior to cut-off date June 4, 2010, individuals may also call Hotels's Room Reservation Department direct at (800) 675-3267 and please check your email for further instruction.
To receive your special group rate, members will need to enter the assigned Reservation ID.  You will receive the Reservation ID via email. The Orleans Hotel and Casino have blocked 50 rooms for the Canilao Clan. 
The dates are from July 2 to July 5, 2010. Hotel offers the Canilao Clan the following room and rate commitment:

 We made arrangement to accommodate those who would like to come early and stay over to enjoy the extra days in Las Vegas. All reservation must be booked prior to the cut-off date June 4, 2010.   
Single or double occupancy is considered the same regarding units blocked and rates. There is a mandatory $5.00 per room, per day Resort fee, allowing access to
the Fitness Center, in room coffee, unlimited local & 800 calls as well as free High-Speed Internet Access in the Business Center.  Please be advised that all rates quoted are net, per room, per night, allowing for single or double occupancy. Any Deluxe rooms requiring triple or quad occupancy will be surcharge an additional $15.00 per guest, per room, per night. (Children age fourteen and under, in the same room with parents in existing bedding are free.) All rates are subject to a Clark County room tax, currently twelve-percent (12%). This tax is subject to increase without prior notice.

Update on the Canilao Clan Reunion

The owner of the dance studio in Las Vegas, Nevada is asking our group to secure the place with a contract and a deposit. She indicated that there are also others, who would like to rent the place
on that fourth of July weekend. This is up to the board of directors of the planning committee to decide.

Based on the 154 invitations, here are the breakdown to date:
Attending: 13
Maybe Attending: 24 
Not Attending: 41
Awaiting Reply: 76
There are 14 future members who were also invited.

She also gave us the number of the caterer in Las Vegas, Nevada.

We have Las Vegas resident Sabrina Canilao, who is a member of the board of directors. Her brother Lance Canilao is also from Las Vegas. They can probably assist the Canilao Clan in checking out the caterers and other venues.
The estimated cost of this event was forwarded to Raymond Canilao. To the rest of the board of directors please check with him.
By the way, the owner of the dance studio will provide a karaoke for our group.  To those who are attending you can participate not only with the Canilao Clan Dancing with the Stars, but also with the Canilao Clan American Idol.  Hope to see you there!

Lastly, good news for those who are unable to attend. This is especially made for all the Canilao Clan who won't be able to join this reunion in Las Vegas, Nevada.  We all wish you could join the fun, however, you can join us virtually. We will bring the Canilao Clan Reunion right in your living room on a  live Web Cast of the Canilao Clan Reunion for those in the US on July 4, 2010 starting at [6:30pm - 11:30pm Pacific Standard Time], [7:30pm - 12:30am Mountain Standard Time], [8:30pm - 1:30am Central Standard Time], [9:30pm - 2:30am Eastern Standard Time],  and to the Canilao Clan watching in the Philippines on July 5, 2010 starting at [9:30am - 2:30pm Manila Time] and for the rest of the world,  please check your local time zones in your area. Canilao Clan's 3rd Annual Reunion Dinner Dance 4th of July Weekend 2010 Venue - Las Vegas, Nevada

There is a dance studio, which is 8 miles from the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, a 15 minutes drive. They will provide the studio rental with a DJ included which can accommodate up to 169 people for the Canilao Clan 3rd Annual Reunion Dinner Dance. This dance studio is equipped with a drop down 72 inch screen, where we can all watch the 4th of July Fireworks which begin at 11:30pm to midnight. They will assist in the catering for our event for the Fourth of July Weekend 2010. July 4 is a Sunday and Monday is a Holiday. Our event will be on July 4, 2010.

Please let me know, if you need additional information and contact number for the location. I believe, Sunday arrival will be less expensive than on a Saturday arrival for Hotel-accommodation.

Let us also look into, if we can get a group discount on hotel accommodation and airfare group discount for those traveling from out of state. Southwest Airlines discount for 10 or more is 15% depending on availability, while New Orleans Hotel is $35/nt on a Sunday - Thursday check in and $75/nt on a Friday and Saturday arrival.

We will try to keep the cost down to the bare minimum to encourage everyone to attend. Please make the necessary arrangement for your flight reservation and hotel accommodation once we get our group code discount.

In addition, we need to pre sell the tickets for this event.

Besides going to the casino, there are also other proposed group activities that you can join such as swimming party, private movie showing just for our group at the Brenden Theatre at the Palms Hotel, see the Las Vegas Shows, shop at the Las Vegas Factory Outlet near Mandalay Bay and other group fun activities as time permits. By the way, we need to know in advance, how many are interested in the private showing at the Brenden Theatre. The Canilao Clan Organizing Committee need your feedback regarding these proposed activities.

This is just a pre planning stage to start the ball rolling. The Canilao Clan Organizing Committee will take over from hereon.

Canilao Clan's 2nd Annual 4th of July Reunion

The Canilao Clan's 2nd Annual 4th of July 2009

Reunion at Royal Oaks Park, Salinas, Ca was

a big success. There were close to 70 attendees

to this event. There were lots of delicious lutong

kapampangan especially the maja blanca, ube and

the Pampanga Tamales. Everyone went home

with lots of fun, gain a little weight here and there,

salsa dancing at the end and lots of happy memories

for a lifetime to remember.
